4e. Growing and Developing Professionally

 

Over the course of the year I attend the ACDA and NAFME conferences whether they be regional and/or national.  These conventions are often 3-4 days in length and consist of rehearsal strategies/repertoire exploration/collegial networking.  In addition to these two organizations I also do continuining education work over the summer.  This past year I spent several weeks at Oxford University in England studying plainchant/conducting.  This summer I'll be completing numerous courses at Villanova dealing with rehearsal strategies and recording/production.  Aside from school work/development I'm also a published editor for GIA Publications under the James Jordan Choral Series.
