2c. Managing Classroom Procedures 

 

In an effort to minimize transitions and maintain classroom control, I'll often use a vocal or rhythmic pattern that the students need to imitate and repeat back to me.  This keeps them focused on me and the learning process.  An example of this can be seen in the video below.  In addition to this, I'll often start music during transitions, resulting in limited talking and class disruption.
